Job summary

United Global Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Lead to guide the design, development, deployment, and ongoing operation of production-grade digital products marrying robust software engineering with applied AI and GenAI capabilities.

The role is a 50:50 mix of modern software engineering practices (APIs, microservices, cloud-native deployment, reliability, and security) and practical AI delivery (ML, GenAI, RAG).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience across production systems.
• Strong Python/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript and APIs/microservices.
• Experience with Kubernetes/cloud-native architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on ML, GenAI and RAG implementation in production.
• Experience architecting and operating AI-enabled production apps and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications with embedded AI/GenAI capabilities.
• Lead and mentor software and AI engineers, setting coding standards and design practices.
• Collaborate with platform, data engineering, and DevSecOps teams to improve velocity, reliability, and security.
• Define engineering practices for quality, observability, and compliant AI tooling.
• Translate requirements into scalable software solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
