Job summary

VySystems is seeking a senior Developer for AI Development & Engineering to design, build, and operate production AI systems end to end. You’ll work across the full AI stack—ML, deep learning, and generative AI—turning business problems into trusted AI capabilities.

You’ll deploy onto Azure with CI/CD, collaborate with distributed teams, and emphasize observability, safety, and efficiency in production systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years shipping ML or AI systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and core ML libraries.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications using major model providers.
• Practical RAG and embeddings experience, including at least one production vector store.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and ship ML/DL models for defined business problems.
• Build LLM-powered applications using Claude, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI or equivalents.
• Develop RAG systems with embeddings, vector stores, and re-ranking.
• Create agentic workflows with tool use, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation metrics.
• Maintain data and feature pipelines on Azure with data quality and lineage.
• Productionize models with MLOps: versioning, retraining, drift detection, rollback.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for AI services and Git-based workflows.
• Deploy services on Azure with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Ensure security, privacy, and risk considerations in regulated contexts.
