Job summary

AZX seeks a Senior Full Stack Product Engineer – AI to join a remote, U.S.-based team. You will build enterprise-grade AI solutions, craft demos, and ensure accessibility, localization, and auditability across products.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and delivering impactful climate-focused technology. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in React/TypeScript, strong streaming protocol experience, and full-stack proficiency with Node/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and modern tooling, all

Qualifications

5+ years of production React/TypeScript experience, including streaming UIs and state management.
Experience implementing streaming protocols (SSE/WebSocket), including reconnection and chunk management.
Full-stack ship experience with Node/Fastify or Python/FastAPI; auth, idempotency, pagination, migrations.
Experience delivering accessible, localized, enterprise-grade products.
AI-native workflow with daily use of AI coding tools and validation of outputs.
Ownership mindset with instrumentation and on-call readiness.
Deep TS/React, TanStack Query, Vite, Node/Fastify, Python/FastAPI, Postgres, Redis.
zod wire contracts, sandboxed iframes, Playwright, Vitest, WCAG 2.2 AA, i18n, OIDC/OAuth2.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's a plus.
US employment authorization (full-time).

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of chat surfaces and agent workspaces with streaming protocols.
Collaborate to enhance app builder features, templates, toolchains, and previews.
Maintain and standardize shared components and design systems for cohesion.
Develop agent-facing tools: CLI, deployment utilities, manifest management.
Own full-stack features: TS/React frontend, Node/FastAPI backend, Postgres, deployment, on-call.
Deliver accessibility, localization, and audit trails as tangible capabilities.
Diagnose across stack using traces/logs to foster collaboration.
