Job summary

MMDSmart is seeking a senior engineer to own features end-to-end across a Go backend and a React/TypeScript frontend, with accountability for everything shipped including AI-assisted components.

You will design and build high-load, distributed production systems, guide AI coding agents, review their outputs, and contribute to architecture decisions and system improvements while enjoying a remote work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Go production experience (4+ years).
• Hands-on with React/TypeScript and frontend basics.
• Experience with high-load, distributed systems.
• Experience designing and debugging production services and APIs.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools beyond autocomplete.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend.
• Design and develop solutions for high-load distributed production systems.
• Leverage AI coding agents as part of the daily development workflow.
• Review AI outputs and take ownership of the final result.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, and frontend functionality.
• Investigate production issues and drive resolution.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and system improvements.
• Improve codebase and development practices for AI-assisted engineering.
