Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group seeks a Senior Manager of AI Engineering to lead end-to-end design and deployment of Generative AI and agentic solutions. The role requires deep GenAI knowledge, Azure cloud expertise, and a track record in delivering enterprise-scale AI projects.

The position is based onsite in Miami, with governance and cross-functional collaboration across guest experience, HR, and back-office domains. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10–12 years software/data/AI engineering experience; 4+ years in production GenAI/agentic apps at enterprise scale.
• Proven expertise in full-stack development and Azure cloud services.
• Deep understanding of GenAI architectures, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and agents.
• Experience with enterprise software architecture, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks.
• Experience with secure coding practices and enterprise identity management.
• Proven track record leading high-performance engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end design, engineering, and production operation of Generative AI and agentic solutions across multiple business domains.
• Architects retrieval-grounded systems, knowledge bases, vector search, memory and secure connectors.
• Guides evaluation and deployment of emerging AI capabilities and platforms at scale.
• Develops strategies to integrate AI/GenAI into new and existing products with global scalability and governance.
• Directs large cross-functional programs translating business requirements into enterprise-grade AI systems.
• Publishes reusable frameworks and patterns to accelerate delivery and standardize engineering.
