Job summary
Schwab Technology Services seeks a Senior Manager, Software Development and Engineering to design and deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions and production-grade data pipelines. You will lead Python-based data processing, cloud integrations, and enterprise applications in the thinkorswim SAvE team.
In collaboration with architects, engineers, and data scientists, you will mentor teams, strengthen tests and observability, and translate complex requirements into secure systems that drive measurable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- 8+ years in software/data engineering delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Proficiency in Python development for data processing and pipelines.
- Experience designing and supporting cloud-enabled trading apps.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services (Cloud Run, Storage, Dataflow).
- Experience API integration and enterprise system connections.
- Data accuracy management and data lifecycle governance.
- Strong debugging, root cause analysis and corrective action ability.
- Experience building automated testing strategies and CI/CD.
Responsibilities
