Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development and Engineering in Ann Arbor, MI. You will lead the delivery of scalable Python-based data pipelines and cloud solutions, connecting enterprise apps with Generative AI capabilities and LLMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, engineering, mathematics, analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years of software/data engineering or related experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Advanced Python development for data processing, system integrations, and pipelines.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting trading applications in cloud environments.
• Hands-on with GCP services like Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Dataflow or similar.
• Experience integrating APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise apps.
• Data Accuracy Management: validation, quality controls, data integrity.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, debugging production issues, root cause analysis.
• Experience developing automated testing, test data creation, and modern source-control practices.
