Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Developer to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and modern cloud tech. You will work with Data & AI teams to translate business needs into scalable AI-powered applications, emphasizing governance and secure deployment.

The role supports remote hiring across the United States. You will mentor developers, optimize RAG pipelines, and integrate multiple foundation models while ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Software Engineering, AI, or related technology disciplines.
• 4+ years of experience building Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions utilizing Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Agents, Cortex Search, and Cortex Analyst.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, semantic models, and AI-powered analytics capabilities.
• Develop agentic AI applications leveraging multi-agent orchestration, autonomous task execution, tool integration, and advanced reasoning frameworks.
• Integrate LLMs into business apps with governance, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into production-ready AI solutions and mentor developers on Generative AI best practices.
