Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Developer to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex AI and Generative AI. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, and AI specialists to build scalable, secure AI-powered applications using Cortex AI components and modern cloud technologies.

You will design, deploy, and optimize RAG solutions, semantic models, and AI-driven analytics while ensuring governance, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Software Engineering, AI, or related technology disciplines.
• 4+ years of experience building Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities.
• Experience with Python, REST APIs, FastAPI/Flask, and LangChain/LangGraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and Cortex components.
• Build and optimize RAG, semantic models, and AI-driven analytics platforms.
• Develop agentic AI applications with multi-agent orchestration and tool integration.
• Integrate leading foundation models and LLMs into business apps with governance and security.
• Mentor developers on Generative AI development best practices.
