Job summary

Deloitte seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and deploy robust AI infrastructure and data architectures in a cross-functional team. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and project managers to deliver scalable, secure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.

Excellent expertise in modern data platforms, AI/GenAI, and DevOps practices is essential. This role involves travel up to 10% and aligns with Deloitte's strategy to transform clients with innovative data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in data engineering, data science, software engineering or MLOps focusing on AI deployment.
• 4+ years designing cloud solutions with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• 4+ years programming with Linux Shell/CLI, Python, SQL.
• 2+ years leading technical delivery and teams.
• 2+ years with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, etc).
• 2+ years with database development and ETL/ELT pipelines (SQL/NoSQL/Neo4j).
• 2+ years deploying and optimizing: Kubernetes, Docker, NVIDIA TensorRT/Triton, Kubeflow, Kafka, MLflow.
• Willing to travel ~10% and live within commuting distance of Deloitte offices.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy architectures to support ML and automation applications.
• Leverage data architecture and cloud/on-prem solutions for robust data pipelines.
• Lead scalable data architectures supporting AI/GenAI use cases.
• Define database schemas (Graph, SQL, NoSQL) for algorithm scalability.
• Participate in architectural discussions for scale, security, and availability.
• Adopt engineering best practices in automation, HPC and AI infrastructure.
• Lead tech proofs-of-concept for new cloud/data tech.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in modern data architecture and modernization.
