Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI & Data Science Engineer II to drive technology-focused client delivery across complex engagements. You will engage with client stakeholders as the primary technical contact, delivering components from design to production rollout, and leading small delivery teams within technology engagements.

Required experience includes data science, ML, Generative AI, Python, SQL, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in data science, ML, or Generative AI, including developing or prototyping LLM apps using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, or vector retrieval
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL across enterprise data, analytics, and ML platforms
• 1+ year of experience developing enterprise data products, data models, automated analytics pipelines, and decision-support solutions
• 1+ year experience leading workstreams or small delivery teams within technology engagements
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on work and clients served
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering/Data Science/AI or related field

Responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders as primary technical contact for your workstream
• Deliver components of client engagements spanning design, prototyping, testing, and production rollout
• Lead small teams through requirements gathering, design, and process mapping with technical direction
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and drive corrective action
• Identify risks and mitigations early to protect delivery
• Maintain clear communication with client stakeholders and engagement leadership
• Build and sustain professional relationships and lead projects or workstreams
