Premera Blue Cross is recruiting an AI Engineer IV for a remote role focused on leading the end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions that power healthcare improvements. You will guide ideation, prototype new AI products, and ensure robust AI infrastructure with scalable data pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, stay current with AI research, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, governed AI services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional IT/analytics experience.
• 5+ years in AI/ML development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with modern deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with microservices and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems and frameworks for AI applications and products.
• Lead prototypes and MVPs to validate AI/ML solutions.
• Design cloud architectures for large AI systems.
• Build robust data pipelines for AI workloads.
• Develop low-latency APIs and services for AI models.
• Mentor junior AI engineers and promote best practices.
