Job summary

Alight is hiring a senior AI/ML engineer to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI applications that solve complex business problems.

Design and develop search and chat applications that utilize agentic AI, and collaborate on a high-performing, agile team with a global presence.

You should be proficient in Python or Spark and ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch), with data engineering experience and strong communication to non-technical partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience with Python or Spark and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
• Data preparation and data engineering experience.
• Knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, and reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with AWS data and data science tools including SageMaker, Glue, Lambdas.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps development process.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models and AI applications solving complex business problems.
• Design and develop search and chat applications using agentic AI.
• Develop AI pathing strategies for the engineering organization.
• Experiment to evaluate model performance and improve results.
• Stay up to date with new tools and evaluate their impact on the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tune algorithms addressing business needs; explain ideas to non-technical partners.
