Sedgwick in the United States is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and operate production Generative AI agents and workflows. You will own end-to-end build streams, deploy on AWS with Terraform, and collaborate with vendor teams while mentoring junior engineers.

This remote role requires strong Python/React skills, CI/CD ownership, and a focus on security, observability, and enterprise integration across regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of software engineering experience.
• Three+ years shipping production Generative AI agents/workflows.
• Hands-on AWS experience with production workloads.
• Proficiency in Python and React; ownership of CI/CD and infrastructure.
• Experience embedding with business users or vendor teams in delivery.

Responsabilités

• Owns a build stream end-to-end across a pod; shapes problems with leadership.
• Designs, builds, and operates production Generative AI agents and workflows.
• Develops full-stack software in Python and React; ships service and UI.
• Owns deployment on AWS with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Implements observability and human-in-the-loop controls for AI systems.
• Implements authentication, logging, monitoring, and security controls.
• Integrates AI services with enterprise systems and data platforms.
• Mentors Junior AI Engineers; drives code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoots and optimizes latency, throughput, and cost.
