Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end AI-driven value-streams. You will architect production AI agents and workflows, set API-first standards, and work hands-on with Python, React, and cloud tools.

You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure quality and operational excellence, and mentor engineers while maintaining alignment with enterprise policies and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Ten (10)+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Owns the technical outcome of a value-stream pod from problem shaping through production operation.
• Architects and builds production Generative AI agents, workflows, and applications using Python and React.
• Sets engineering standards for API-first delivery, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Defines interfaces with vendor teams and ensures shared substrates and contracts.
• Leads technical solution design and architectural reviews for the stream.
• Mentors Senior and Junior AI Engineers to raise code quality and practice.
