Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to own and guide the technical outcome of AI-focused value streams. You will architect, build, and govern production Generative AI agents and workflows using Python and React, while upholding API-first, Terraform-based production standards and robust CI/CD practices.

You will mentor junior to senior AI engineers, collaborate with business leaders and operations, and ensure secure, compliant delivery in a remote-friendly environment across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Owns the technical outcome of a value-stream pod from problem shaping through production operation.
• Architects and builds production Generative AI agents, workflows, and applications in Python and React.
• Sets and enforces engineering standards for the pod including API-first and Terraform-driven production and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Leads technical solution design and architectural reviews for the stream and mentors other engineers.
