Job summary

Referment is seeking a senior AI engineer to lead practical AI initiatives across human capital, product management, and software engineering. You will translate talent-related needs into governed AI solutions and prototype Python features for production integration.

Role involves defining technical direction, evaluating tools, and mentoring colleagues while collaborating with stakeholders across functions to ensure responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least six years' experience across human capital, data science or technology development, including exposure to AI.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI use cases with internal stakeholders and translate them into well-scoped technical solutions.
• Design and deliver Python prototypes, then partner with product and engineering teams to integrate successful features.
• Evaluate AI tools through user feedback and outcome monitoring, recommending improvements.
• Set technical direction across models, tooling, prompt design, retrieval and agentic approaches.
• Mentor junior colleagues and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
