Job summary

Superhuman, the AI productivity platform, seeks a Senior Design Technologist to lead AI prototyping and internal tooling on the Design Foundations team. You will build scalable prototyping frameworks and AI integrations that drive precision, cohesion, accessibility, and brand consistency across the design organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across creative technology, design engineering, or advanced prototyping.
• Experience building interactive LLM-powered experiences.
• Collaboration with Design Systems and Accessibility teams.
• Fluent with Figma advanced features and prototyping.
• Strong front-end skills to prototype with HTML/CSS/JS/React.
• Knowledge of AI API integration and structured outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for research and decision-making.
• Use AI tooling and write clean front-end code to create prototypes and tools.
• Create AI API integrations and prompt frameworks aligned with design tokens and accessibility.
• Develop reusable prototyping frameworks and internal tooling.
• Define how AI integrates into front-end workflows, validating with CI checks and token enforcement.
