Job summary

Pharming is seeking an AI Specialist for a hybrid role based in Warren, NJ, with 2-3 in-office days per week. You will own end-to-end AI product delivery, responsible-ai governance, and lifecycle management, collaborating across global teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Reporting to the Head of AI, Data & Analytics, you’ll translate business outcomes into production-ready AI capabilities, lead cross-functional workstreams, ensure compliance, and uphold engineering and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, AI, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in AI/ML, data science or software engineering with production AI ownership.
• Experience deploying AI/ML in global or regulated environments preferred.
• Strong programming, Python emphasis, and software-engineering practices.
• Ability to translate governance and regulatory requirements into technical controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain complex AI/ML solutions in production.
• Lead responsible-AI governance, risk assessment and data privacy controls.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture and business teams across time zones.
• Establish and maintain lifecycle monitoring, observability and controlled releases.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and architectural guidance.
