Job summary

Proclinical, a growing pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to drive AI transformation across the business from NJ/NYC. The role blends hands-on AI engineering with strategy, business transformation and stakeholder leadership.

The successful candidate will guide teams on AI solutions, lead advanced initiatives from concept through production, and partner with leaders to prioritize high-value AI use cases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across software engineering, AI development or technology consulting.
• 3+ years building GenAI / LLM-based solutions.
• Strong hands-on Python skills.
• Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, agentic AI and multi-agent system.
• Proven experience deploying AI solutions into production environments.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and working with senior business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices including version control, CI/CD, testing and containerization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience within consulting, regulated industries, AI enablement/training, MLOps or enterprise infrastructure would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI initiatives across multiple business functions, from intake and scoping through implementation and adoption.
• Design and deliver GenAI solutions including LLM applications, RAG pipelines, agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows.
• Partner with business leaders, IT and technical teams to identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases.
• Define technical architecture and guide solutions through to production.
• Enable non-technical teams to effectively use conversational AI, custom assistants and low/no-code AI tools.
• Review AI solutions for quality, scalability and production readiness.
• Help drive broader AI adoption and transformation across the organization.
