Job summary

RELX in the United States is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design and deliver production AI systems, including agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and structured extraction services. You will translate ambiguous business problems into measurable AI solutions and mentor junior engineers across teams.

The role requires strong TypeScript/Node.js and Python skills, hands-on experience with LLM platforms, and cloud deployment on AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience; 2+ years shipping LLM/ML into production.
• End-to-end ownership of an AI feature or service: design, deployment, and monitoring.
• Expert proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python; C#/.NET a plus.
• Hands-on with LLM platforms and APIs (Azure OpenAI or equivalent).
• Experience building RAG pipelines with embedding, retrieval, grounding, and justification.

Responsibilities
