Luminai, a healthcare AI automation company, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer focused on AI systems research, experimentation, and rapid improvement of AI platforms. You will guide the technical direction and help scale executable AI automations used by health systems worldwide.

You will mentor engineers, shape model development pipelines, and raise the bar for rigor and reliability in production environments. The role blends research, engineering, and product impact in a fast-growing startup.

Competenze

• 5+ years shipping high-quality code on complex projects.
• Senior, steady hand on a team; sets technical direction.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, ML, or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, system design.

Mansioni

• Design experiments and test ideas to optimize internal AI benchmarks.
• Design and improve evaluation frameworks to accelerate experimentation.
• Train, fine-tune, and optimize ML models; evaluate accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate on core product development to deliver higher platform capabilities.
• Set up observability and monitoring to safely check model behavior.
• Set technical direction across experimentation and evaluation work; raise the bar for tooling and practices.
• Mentor and unblock other engineers, providing guidance on technical tradeoffs.
