Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. seeks an AI Engineer IV (Staff) to lead design, development, and deployment of production AI solutions across the healthcare platform.

You will own complex AI systems, set architecture standards, and mentor engineers while ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years building AI in production.
• Proven track record shipping AI features with measurable outcomes.
• Strong programming in Python and experience with enterprise languages.
• Experience with building production AI workloads on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with APIs, microservices, SQL, Git, CI/CD, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and deployment of complex AI/ML solutions including generative AI and intelligent document processing.
• Architect applications on large language models using retrieval augmented generation and tool calling.
• Define evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and automated test suites for AI features.
• Lead ML ops practices including CI/CD, versioning, and cost management for AI workloads.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical standards and reference architectures.
