Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Senior AI Engineer, Hivemind Learning & Development, to build AI-powered training systems that accelerate engineers’ proficiency with Hivemind. You will own a coaching system, craft technical curricula, and partner with autonomy experts to produce labs and assessments.

The role blends production AI engineering with developer education, education tooling, and content systems. Collaboration with Applications Engineering and Customer Success is key to delivering current,

Qualifications

Progressive experience building production software, AI-enabled products, developer tools, learning platforms, or comparable systems.
Hands-on experience integrating large language models and AI APIs into production environments.
Strong software engineering fundamentals: API design, testing, observability, documentation, secure coding, maintainable architecture.
Ability to read and write credible examples in Python and C++.

Responsibilities

Develop an AI-powered training coach for Hivemind concepts and workflows.
Create technical training materials and hands-on workshops for engineers.
Build prompt-based tooling to generate workshops from defined objectives and materials.
Create tooling to upgrade and improve training content as Hivemind evolves.
Support learning workflows and development pipelines for Hivemind.
