Job summary

Shield AI seeks a Senior AI Engineer, Hivemind Learning & Development to build AI-powered training systems and curricula for engineers. You will own an AI training coach, produce technical labs, and partner with autonomy experts to deliver workshops and assessments.

You will collaborate with Applications Engineering, Hivemind engineering, and Customer Success to ensure content stays current with releases and delivers measurable customer capability improvements.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience building production software or AI-enabled products.
• Hands-on experience integrating large language models and AI tooling.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including API design and observability.
• Proficiency in Python and ability to read, debug, and create credible examples in modern C++.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear technical docs, labs, and enablement.
• Ability to learn complex technical products quickly and collaborate with SMEs.
• Experience evaluating AI system quality using tests and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Develop an AI-powered training coach that helps people learn Hivemind concepts, products, and workflows.
• Create highly technical Hivemind training materials and hands-on workshops.
• Build prompt-based tooling that generates workshops from objectives and sources.
• Create tooling to automate ongoing upgrades of training materials.
• Build AI tools to streamline and automate Hivemind Learning & Development workflows.
