Job summary

Shieldai is seeking an experienced software engineer to join their Special Projects team focused on developing generative AI for autonomy. The role requires over 15 years of software development experience and proficiency in modern software practices. You will work closely with the Office of the CTO to crystallize the Hivemind product vision.

Responsibilities include user experience design, conducting user research, and collaborating on various Hivemind products. Travel to Shield AI locations 1-3 times per quarter is necessary.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience developing large, production quality software systems.
• Excellent grasp of software development and coding principles with high productivity in a mainstream language.
• 5+ years of experience with React/Node/Typescript/Javascript development.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype generative AI experience for autonomy development.
• Work closely with Office of the CTO on Hivemind product vision.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs.
