Job summary

Curai Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance agentic AI in healthcare. You will design, build, and ship ML/LLM systems end-to-end, framing problems with clinicians, preparing datasets, training models, validating results, and deploying robust production pipelines that scale.

You will work closely with product, data science, and clinical teams to translate medical needs into reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related field.
• 3+ years building and deploying ML systems incl. generative AI (LLMs).
• Strong Python production‑grade software engineering.
• Experience with LLM prompting, retrieval‑augmented generation, fine‑tuning.
• Ability to design evaluations with real‑world data.
• Excellent communication across clinicians, product, and engineers.
• Bias toward action and ownership.
• Commitment to mission and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of complex AI initiatives.
• Design, build, train, evaluate ML/LLM‑based systems.
• Own problems end‑to‑end with clinicians and partners.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and offline/online tests.
• Build data pipelines, training/inference infra.
• Collaborate with clinicians, product, and engineering.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers.
• Stay current with AI literature and tools.
