Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is hiring AI Engineers at the Staff and Senior Staff levels to join our IT Business Applications team. This group builds and operates the technology platforms that power Marketing, Sales, and the full Lead-to-Cash lifecycle.

This is a solutions engineering role, not a data science or ML research role. You will act as a hands‑on technical leader who uses AI as building blocks—LLMs, agents, RAG, embeddings—to deliver production solutions that solve real business problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering with Python and modern cloud architectures.
• Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and agent-based workflows.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and CI/CD.
• Excellent collaboration with business stakeholders and product teams.

Responsibilities

• AI Architecture & Solution Design: translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Proxy-First AI Ecosystems: build unified API endpoints to abstract LLM complexity.
• GenAI & Multi‑Agent Systems: design multi-agent workflows for GTM processes.
• AI Observability & Quality: implement observability pipelines and model performance tracking.
• Security & Governance: implement guardrails to prevent data leakage and ensure resilience.
• Leadership & Execution: mentor engineers and communicate trade-offs to partners.
