Job summary

Elevance Health in Indianapolis is seeking an Engineer Senior to own end-to-end application and multi-technology platform development, with hybrid in-office 1-2 days per week and flexible remote to support productivity.

You will mentor engineers, perform design reviews, evaluate Gen AI use cases, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.
• a minimum of 5 years related experience
• multi dimensional platform experience
• expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of end to end application, system development and maintenance on complex multi technology platforms.
• Researches, evaluates, and proposes new technologies, including Generative AI and AI engineering practices.
• Designs, develops, and supports scalable applications with a focus on Generative AI and intelligent automation.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to engineers on modern engineering practices and AI concepts.
• Performs technical design reviews and code reviews for AI-enabled solutions.
• Maintains the technical development environment and partnerships with stakeholders.
