Job summary

Apptopia is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead our push into LLMs, agentic systems, and AI-driven product innovation. You’ll design and build intelligent systems that combine LLM reasoning, structured data, and tool orchestration to shape how we use AI across our product and company.

You will own production ML capabilities, advance data products, and collaborate with product and engineering to deploy scalable AI features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, ML, or applied AI.
• Experience building production ML systems end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock).
• Experience with RAG, tool use, or agentic systems.
• Strong Python and cloud (AWS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate LLM-powered systems into new data products.
• Advance existing products with AI capabilities.
• Design agentic workflows combining LLM reasoning, data, and tools.
• Experiment with multi-step reasoning and tool orchestration.
• Develop ML algorithms for app usage, behavior, and forecasting.
