Job summary

Moring in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior AI Engineer who combines deep cloud-native engineering with hands-on AI work. You will build end-to-end AI capabilities, from agents to retrieval, and integrate with major model APIs within enterprise environments.

You will own architectural decisions, embed with customer teams, and focus on reliability, latency, security, and cost. Expect to mentor peers and drive field-tested improvements across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of software engineering experience with cloud-native systems, backend services, or platforms.
• Deep hands-on AWS expertise: EKS/ECS, Lambda, IAM, networking, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong Python and production engineering habits: testing, code review, observability, and clean design.
• Solid grounding in distributed systems, API design, and event-driven architecture.
• Recent AI depth: built agents, RAG pipelines, or LLM applications hands-on.
• Experience with at least one agent framework and major model APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build AI capabilities across product and platform layers.
• Design, build, and ship agents, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered features end-to-end.
• Develop robust retrieval with chunking, embeddings, vector search, and re-ranking.
• Integrate models and tools (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock) securely.
• Deploy with enterprise customers and embed with client teams to fit their environments.
• Own infrastructure for AI workloads on AWS and ensure security and scale.
• Lead architectural discussions, mentor engineers, and drive pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions.
