Job summary

Moring.ai in Alpharetta, GA is hiring an AI Engineer to build our production-grade AI platform and the agents that run on it. You will work on the LLM gateway, agent runtime, and secure deployment inside enterprise cloud environments with strict audit trails and no internet egress.

We value solid engineering fundamentals, hands-on AI work over the last year, and the ability to ship reliable, scalable systems in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong Python and the habits of a production engineer: testing, code review, observability.
• Good grounding in APIs, data, and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of AWS (ECS or EKS, Lambda, IAM, networking) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CDK).
• Experience with major model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock) and at least one agent framework.

Responsibilities

• Build features in the LLM gateway: routing, caching, rate limits, per-customer model rules, and cost tracking.
• Build parts of the agent runtime: start, run, hold state, versioning and rollback.
• Build MCP servers for tools and data, within customer boundaries with proper security.
• Extend the AI registry: models, agents, prompts, tools, datasets with owners, versions, and approval state.
• Add governance: policy checks, guardrails, approval steps, audit logs.
