Job summary

Neighborly Software, based in Atlanta, GA, seeks a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and ship features on our enterprise platform. You will work within a scrum team, deliver cloud-native solutions end to end, uphold high code quality, and use AI tools daily to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of software development experience delivering production systems.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and React/Angular; Python a plus.
• 3+ years in Cloud Engineering (Azure/AWS/GCP, Azure preferred).
• Hands-on with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex or Cursor).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
• Data platform awareness and analytics visualization (Power BI a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver features and services for the platform with scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Leverage Claude and Claude Code across the workflow to improve speed and quality.
• Help refine AI-assisted development practices, prompts, and code review.
• Build cloud-native, service-oriented solutions using Azure, APIs, and modern frameworks.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and break work into deliverables.
• Partner with Product Managers, QA, and scrum team to deliver high-impact features.
• Write clean, well-tested code; participate in code reviews; improve platform reliability and security.
• Contribute to prototypes on emerging technologies and AI/LLM capabilities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Share knowledge via pairing, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, and compliance.
