Job summary

6sense is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for the Agentic Platform to advance production agents, expand the API and MCP layers, and build an ecosystem that connects external agents, clients, and partners.

You'll own cross-cutting ML-powered features, collaborate with Contextual Intelligence teams, write production Python daily, and drive multi-month projects in a hybrid SF Bay Area or Austin setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production software systems.
• 2+ years building production LLM-powered systems including agents.
• Strong Python development skills with LangGraph or similar orchestration framework.
• Experience designing APIs and tool interfaces for LLMs.
• Experience scaling multi-tenant, security-sensitive cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to debug distributed services and support customers.

Responsibilities

• Extend LangGraph orchestrators with typed state, routing, and workflows.
• Develop and optimize API designs and MCP patterns.
• Scale MCP layer for production workloads and multi-tenant environments.
• Onboard external MCP clients and define trust boundaries.
• Strengthen platform reliability with idempotency and rate limits.
• Collaborate with Contextual Intelligence to expose context via MCP and APIs.
• Write design docs, review code, mentor engineers, and participate in on-call rotations.
