Job summary

Blu Omega LLC, headquartered in Ashburn, VA, seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to define and develop mission-critical machine learning solutions in a cloud environment. The role is remote-friendly with local preference in ATL, GA or DC-Metro.

You will write production-grade Python, design ML workflows (including generative AI/RAG), and deploy models using SageMaker, Azure ML, and Databricks, collaborating across software, data science, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years building production-grade ML systems.
• Expert Python with testing, packaging, logging, CI/CD.
• Experience deploying models to cloud-native platforms.
• Strong data pipelines in distributed environments.
• Public Trust eligibility or equivalent clearance.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain production-quality Python for ML models.
• Design robust ML workflows including generative AI and RAG pipelines.
• Build scalable training/inference pipelines in the cloud.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and DevOps.
• Lead experiments, code reviews, and ML lifecycle practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
