Job summary

ICF Olson is seeking an AI Engineer to advance enterprise AI/ML capabilities across a federal data platform. This role focuses on NLP, MLOps, model deployment, and responsible AI practices using Databricks ML, Azure ML, and Python in a cloud environment.

As a remote-first position with a strong preference for candidates in the Washington DC Metro Area, you will collaborate with governance, security, and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, ensuring compliance and production-readiness

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract.
• Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have lived in the U.S. for three of the last five years.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree may substitute experience.
• 6+ years designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop NLP and AI/ML capabilities across the enterprise data platform.
• Build AI/ML models, deployment frameworks, and MLOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with governance, security, data, and product teams to ensure safe, scalable AI.
• Document decisions, risks, and delivery evidence for traceability and continuous improvement.
