Job summary

WorkWave is seeking a product-minded AI engineer to own the lifecycle of customer-facing agents. You will transform expressed customer needs into endpoints, tools, and seamless experiences deployed on Bedrock, with a focus on quality, coverage, and measurable impact.

You will lead end-to-end agent engineering, from retrieval and orchestration to evaluation and monitoring, driving adoption and business value across our platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software or data-intensive systems used by real customers, with strong Python skills.
• Experience with AI agents, retrieval, and multi-step workflows in production.
• Hands-on AWS experience, ideally Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore.
• Ability to measure outcomes with adoption, task success, and decision quality.
• Experience building eval loops, groundedness, and CI gates.

Responsibilities

• From Customer Need to Product Superpower: Own the outcome.
• Build production agents and the tools they call on Bedrock.
• Turn serving layers into endpoints and usable agent capabilities.
• Improve latency, cost per response, and explainability of outputs.
• Instrument tracing and escalate fixes; ship iteratively.
• Collaborate with Product and Eng to define agent scope and metrics.
