Job summary

Emergence AI is hiring an AI Engineer to build customer-facing capabilities across our Enterprise Agent Platform, partnering with Product Management, Customer Success, and customers to turn complex business problems into production-grade AI systems. You’ll operate as an AI-native engineer, using AI tools to accelerate delivery while owning architecture, quality, and outcomes.

You will collaborate with customers in data-intensive industries, design trustworthy AI workflows, and develop runtimes

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience using AI development tools as part of daily workflow.
Strong fundamentals in production backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Build the Enterprise Agent Platform to configure, deploy, and run AI agents at scale.
Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, and customers to turn complex problems into production AI systems.
Design systems for trustworthiness: evaluation, verification, policy enforcement, and observability.
Develop runtimes for long-running AI workflows with reliable state management and multi-agent coordination.
Own features from concept through production, focusing on APIs, architecture, security, and performance.
Raise engineering bar by adopting patterns and evaluating new AI tools to boost productivity.
