Job summary

Verizon is seeking a skilled engineer to build, optimize, and deploy state-of-the-art agentic AI/ML models within the Verizon Consumer Group AI team. You will translate architectures into production-grade code while ensuring reliability, performance, and scale.

You will collaborate with product managers and GTS engineering to execute roadmaps, review code, and prototype new AI frameworks. A hybrid work model and travel up to 25% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• 4+ years of relevant AI/ML or related experience.
• 1+ years building/tuning AI/ML models or integrating LLMs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and scale agentic AI/ML models and systems.
• Integrate AI agent frameworks with existing customer success platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams on roadmaps.
• Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and testing for safe model behavior.
• Optimize model inference pipelines and data integration layers.
• Prototype emerging AI frameworks and document performance results.
• Create technical documentation and demonstrations of pilot outcomes.
