Job summary

Verizon is seeking a senior technical leader to drive the vision, architecture, and delivery of agentic AI/ML solutions for the Verizon Consumer Group. You will build scalable pipelines and agent architectures that power digital channels, sales, and customer success, collaborating across security, legal, and cross‑functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, shape the long‑term roadmap, and translate breakthroughs into clear, compelling presentations for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Six+ years designing, building, and deploying production AI/ML systems at scale.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision, architecture, and execution of agentic AI/ML solutions for Verizon Consumer Group.
• Drive strategy and implement production‑grade AI/ML pipelines and agent architectures.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and legal to meet privacy and compliance standards.
• Partner with operations and strategy teams to translate business needs into designs.
• Develop and maintain a 3–5 year technical roadmap for agentic systems.
• Mentor engineers and introduce red‑teaming for safety and robustness.
• Translate complex tech concepts into executive‑level narratives.
