Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and evolve AI-powered travel experiences within the Agentic AI experience team. You will lead cross-team design, establish domain data architecture, and drive high-level solutions across a multi-year horizon.

Qualifications

• 8+ years (Bachelor's) or 6+ years (Master's) of professional software development experience.
• Experience leading architecture and high-level design for complex, multi-service platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Kotlin, C#, Python) and ability to set coding standards.
• Experience leading AI/ML adoption across production systems and defining measurement strategies.
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead team-level design and development across the domain and drive multi-year architecture.
• Partner with product, engineering and stakeholders to frame and solve complex challenges.
• Champion AI/ML integration and create feedback mechanisms, including human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Own domain reliability, backlogs, and incident response.
• Influence technical direction and establish domain vision and inner-sourcing.
• Mentor and coach engineers, establish best practices and reusable patterns.
