Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a senior AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy agentic, multi-step AI systems. You will architect autonomous agents, integrate LLMs with tools and data sources, and define evaluation frameworks for reliable, scalable performance.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and research teams, and stay current with the evolving agentic AI landscape to shape the company’s AI strategy and production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related industry experience.
• Experience designing and deploying agentic or multi-step AI systems (e.g., ReAct, tool-calling agents) in production or research settings.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks; experience with LLM APIs and orchestration libraries.
• Experience defining and running evaluation frameworks for ML systems and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evaluate multi-step agentic AI systems with autonomous agents.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in agentic architectures.
• Integrate LLMs with external tools, APIs, databases, and code execution environments.
• Lead collaboration with product, engineering, and research teams to translate requirements into designs.
