Ladders is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the ideation, design, and deployment of AI solutions in the Healthcare space. You will work with product teams and stakeholders to translate complex needs into practical technical solutions and advance the organization’s AI capabilities.

The role offers remote work for US-based candidates, mentorship for junior engineers, and collaboration across product teams to deliver scalable, reliable AI systems in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics, technology, or healthcare experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with ML and AI models.
• Expert proficiency in Python and ML libraries.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will drive the ideation, design, and production deployment of AI solutions that support healthcare payer use cases. You will partner closely with product teams and business stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, translate complex needs into practical technical solutions, and help advance the organization’s AI capabilities.

The position also offers the chance to shape how AI is integrated across the business while contributing to scalable, reliable systems and mentoring junior engineers.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 annually

• Partner with product teams to define and prioritize AI opportunities
