Job summary

Niuro is seeking a Senior AI/Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-driven systems with agent-based workflows. You will develop REST APIs and backend services, and apply best practices for production-grade AI components.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience with 5+ years in software or AI engineering.
• C1 English level or higher.
• Strong Python programming skills with FastAPI or an equivalent framework.
• Production experience with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience designing APIs and microservices.
• Experience deploying and operating services on AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend services, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience debugging, stabilizing, and scaling production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve AI-driven systems, including agent-based workflows.
• Develop and integrate AI capabilities through REST APIs and backend services.
• Debug, refactor, and stabilize AI and LLM systems operating in production.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate AI services in the cloud using CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Work with engineers to reduce technical debt and resolve operational issues incrementally.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical trade-offs clearly to product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
• Take ownership of practical delivery, system reliability, and long-term maintainability.
