• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver scalable AI solutions.

DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-driven solutions for DMA’s business development and operational teams. This hybrid role bridges clients and internal stakeholders with technical teams, helping translate business needs into AI requirements while guiding the AI integration roadmap across the enterprise. The position is based in Indianapolis, IN and includes in-office time in Fort Wayne, IN.

Role Overview

The Senior AI Solutions Engineer will take point on client-facing engagements, architect AI models and workflows, and oversee integrations that fit corporate tax and consulting use cases. You will collaborate across product, development, and business operations to ensure AI solutions are delivered successfully, while also mentoring engineers and supporting continuous improvement for deployed systems.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging AI trends within tax, finance, and legal domains.

• Mentor junior AI engineers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
• Support proposal development and business development efforts with technical expertise and solution design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI solution engineering, including client-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
• Experience with AI platforms, model deployment, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
• Familiarity with corporate tax processes or financial services is a plus.
• Experience in consulting or enterprise solution delivery preferred.

Hybrid Position and Work Location
