Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced lead software engineer to join a medium-to-large product team in a hybrid US setting. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software/platform engineering, strong skills in C#/Java or Python, and experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and data tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
• More than 10 years applied experience.
• Significant relevant experience in software/platform engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Solves complex and escalated aspects of a project, coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting.
• Provides advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency and value from current solutions and emerging technologies.
• Develops strong working relationships across Development, Engineering and Architecture teams.
• Provides a leadership role to ensure appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools and responsibilities.
• Drives consistency to processes, standards and technical design.
