Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager for AI Enabled Data Governance to architect and scale the enterprise governance platform across multi‑cloud environments, unifying Snowflake, Unity Catalog, and related technologies for secure, compliant data usage.

You will lead strategy, partner with engineering, risk, and business teams, define KPIs, and drive adoption through automation to reduce overhead and enable trusted data sharing and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Governance, enterprise data management, product management, or platform architecture.
• Expert knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, data quality, data privacy, regulatory controls and data governance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks Unity Catalog and modern governance platforms.
• Proven ability to govern multi‑cloud environments across AWS, Azure and on‑prem.
• Experience designing API-driven integrations and governance automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain end-to-end governance frameworks for data lineage, data quality, metadata management, access governance, and compliance across AWS, Azure, and on‑prem environments.
• Establish scalable patterns for metadata ingestion, lineage orchestration, and policy enforcement to ensure automated governance.
• Unify Snowflake, Databricks Unity Catalog, and adjacent technologies into a cohesive governance fabric.
• Define integration standards and interoperability patterns for unified governance across platforms and data domains.
• Define governance operating models for data products, shared datasets, and marketplace offerings.
• Enable secure, compliant data sharing using entitlement frameworks, data contracts, and standardized exchange patterns.
• Partner with SMEs across lineage, data quality, privacy, risk, and engineering to embed governance into workflows.
• Lead governance evangelism to promote adoption and usability across the enterprise.
• Develop API-driven patterns and automation for metadata ingestion, lineage capture, quality metrics, and governance workflows.
• Champion automation-first practices to reduce overhead and improve governance scalability.
