Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) to embed with engineering and manufacturing teams, turning program demand into executable sourcing strategies. You will own the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, from bid packages to supplier readiness, including PPAP and run-at-rate validation, in an AI-first environment to automate transactional tasks.

You will collaborate across Integrated Supply Chain functions and drive dual/tri-source strategies, contract negotiations, and make/buy

Qualifications

• Experience embedding with engineering and manufacturing teams
• Ability to build bid packages with technical requirements and commercial terms
• Experience driving supplier readiness and capability validation
• Familiarity with AI-driven procurement and data dashboards

Responsibilities

• Build comprehensive bid packages with technical requirements, commercial terms, and evaluation criteria
• Support competitive source selection events
• Qualify and onboard new suppliers, including facility assessments and contract execution
• Drive supplier readiness through PPAP, tooling acceptance, control plans, Cp/Cpk studies, and run-at-rate validation
• Validate supplier capacity to scale from low-rate to high-rate production
• Develop dual/tri-source strategies to mitigate risk and drive cost competition
• Conduct make/buy/where trade studies with engineering and manufacturing
• Negotiate contracts and LTAs/MSAs with indexed pricing and capacity commitments
• Embed with technical programs and report status to leadership
• Use AI-generated dashboards to identify trends and trigger corrective actions
• Define requirements for AI-driven procurement automation
