Blue Origin LLC in Seattle, WA seeks a Supply Chain Program Manager to own end-to-end supplier lifecycle, from bid packages to LTAs, in an AI-first environment. You will embed with engineering and manufacturing teams, drive cost-down, assess capacity, and lead make/buy trade studies to enable high-rate production.

The role emphasizes agile sourcing, supplier qualifications, PPAP, and collaboration with program leadership. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years OR Master’s degree with 2-3 years of supply chain, engineering, or program management experience in manufacturing environments
• Exposure to NPI or development programs from design through high-rate production
• Experience with First Article Inspection and supplier capability studies
• Understanding of takt time, line balancing, capacity validation, and supplier scalability
• Experience building and executing sourcing strategies: competitive events, dual-sourcing, and total cost analysis
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; able to embed with engineering and manufacturing teams
• Superior communication skills to distill complex supply chain issues for executives
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with BOMs, MRP/ERP, cost modeling and metrics
• Comfort with digital tools, supplier portals, EDI/TMS, and data-driven decision making
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for supplier visits and audits

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Build comprehensive bid packages with technical requirements, terms, and evaluation criteria
• Support competitive source selection events
• Qualify and onboard new suppliers with assessments and contract execution
• Drive supplier readiness through PPAP and run-at-rate validation
• Validate supplier capacity to scale for high-rate production
• Develop dual/tri-source strategies to mitigate risk and drive competition
• Conduct make/buy/where trade studies with engineering and manufacturing
• Negotiate contracts and LTAs with indexed pricing and capacity commitments
• Embed with programs and report status, risk, and mitigations
• Use AI-generated dashboards to identify trends and drive action
