Datadog, the leading observability platform, is seeking a procurement professional to join the Strategic Sourcing group. You will expand sourcing across G&A categories and act as a trusted analyst, leveraging AI tools to enhance market research and drive cost savings.

This hybrid role emphasizes RFx events, negotiations, spend analysis, and collaboration with FP&A on utilization and forecast models to enable smarter decisions as Datadog grows.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years supporting procurement through strategic sourcing with data analysis and negotiated savings.
• Ability to analyze data and present business cases for new contracts and renewals.
• Experience at a high-growth company with global initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and drive value-driven decisions.
• Willingness to experiment with AI tools to improve productivity and workflows.
• Understanding of optimization levers such as demand management and price negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools to enhance market research and data analysis in sourcing workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to drive scalability and smarter decisions.
• Support sourcing strategies for G&A categories (People Team, Finance, Legal, Real Estate).
• Develop stakeholder relationships and advocate value-driven purchasing.
• Lead and execute RFx events and negotiate terms with vendors.
• Manage renewals and monitor spend for accuracy and proactive communication.
• Analyze spend data to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Create pricing models to quantify buying scenarios and forecast utilization.
• Align with FP&A on utilization and forecast models.
• Navigate ambiguous problems, provide structure, and maintain momentum in sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and mitigate risk.
